I run a full studio - does Hitbook fit a team?
Perfect fit. Roles (admin, lead photographer, editor, album manager), permissions, task distribution, internal salary budgets - all in Hitbook. The couple sees only their side in ProductionBook.
I am a solo photographer - is it overkill for me?
No. Free signup, and basic features are enough for a single project: quote, contract, deposit, album. If you grow, you can upgrade.
Is there a real process for the final album?
AlbumWorkflow - a Hitbook-internal process with a status machine: photo selection → design approval → couple's digital signature → send to print house → quality check → delivery approval. No step can be skipped.
How does coordination with an external editor / print house work?
Add them as a partner vendor. They see the project with limited permissions - only their specific album, without access to your clients.
How much does it cost?
Free signup. Pro at 59.99 ILS/month for advanced features. Platform fee ($30 per event) only on digital signatures inside the system - sign outside the system, zero fee.
Can the couple choose between a full studio and building a team themselves?
Yes - and that is one of ProductionBook's strengths. It shows them both paths: full studio (higher cost, less hassle) or self-built team (lower cost, more management). You can pitch either and compete on fit.
